Aims and Scope
The International Journal of Oral Biology (IJOB) is an official journal of the Korean Academy of Oral Biology (www.kaob.or.kr). IJOB is an international, peer-reviewed journal. IJOB aims to publish evidence-based, scientific research articles from various disciplines of the orofacial and dental sciences. IJOB welcomes articles containing original information including anatomy, biophysics, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, or physiology, which meet the general interest to researchers in oral biology.
About the Journal
This journal was first published in 1977 under the title ‘ Korean Journal of Oral Biology ’ (former pISSN 1225-6390) and was renamed the ‘ Journal of Oral Biology’ in 1993. Commencing with the December 1996 issue, the journal was renamed ‘ International Journal of Oral Biology ’ (pISSN 1226-7155, eISSN 2287-6618), and its ISO abbreviation is ‘ Int J Oral Biol ’. IJOB is published four times a year on the last day (March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31). This journal is indexed & abstracted in KoreaMed, KoMCI, KCI, RISS, NDSL, Google Scholar, Crossref, Western Pacific Region Index Medicus, OCLC WorldCat, British Library, and WorldWideScience.

IJOB is an open access journal. The person using this journal may use, reproduce, disseminate, or display the open access version of contents for non-commercial purposes. A free full-text service in PDF format is available at http://www.kijob.or.kr.
